About
The hands, and the philosophy.
Detox Touch began with one specialist’s obsession with doing lymphatic work properly — and grew into an academy passing that standard on.

Amelia is a Burnley, Lancashire-based lymphatic drainage specialist who has supported over 500 women through their wellbeing — building a practice known for its calm, its precision and its results.
Through The Detox Touch Certification Programme, she now teaches the three modules behind that reputation: Brazilian Drain Techniques, Wood Therapy and The Detox Touch Method, taught with the same anatomy-led care she brings to every client.
“I want every practitioner I train to leave understanding the body they’re working with — not just the routine.”
Four things we never compromise on.
- Work with the body
- Lymph already knows where to go. Our method follows its natural pathways rather than forcing them — gentle, considered and grounded in anatomy.
- Precision over pressure
- The difference is in the detail: a featherlight, considered touch, worked slowly and in the right direction every time.
- Safety and care, always
- Consultation, consent, contraindications and aftercare are not extras — they are the foundation of professional practice.
- Education that lasts
- You should understand why every movement works, so you can adapt with confidence long after the programme ends.
